ALUMINUM OXIDE

ALUMINUM OXIDE

 Brown Fused

Aluminum Oxide is used when an application is sensitive to rusting caused by ferric contamination and requires an extremely aggressive, hard abrasive. Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide is obtained from the fusion of high purity bauxites found in electric arc furnaces, resulting in +95% purity of aluminum BFA. White Aluminum Oxide is obtained from the fusion of calcined Bayer alumina found in electric arc furnaces, resulting in +99 purity.
